Charging your Solo II
The Solo II arrives partially charged, but we would recommend charging it to full before using it for the first time
To charge the battery, insert the USB cable provided into the micro USB port on the bottom of the device
An initial charge will take approximately 4 hours to full charge.
Perform a quick burnoff of the oven
Once the battery is fully charged, it is worth performing a 'burn-off' of the oven. This will clear the oven of any leftover residue from manufacturing.
To carry this out, activate the Solo II by holding the (M) and (^) buttons for up to 6 seconds. You can then adjust the temperature to its highest (220C) by holding the "up" navigation button.
Heating will then begin and the device will then vibrate to indicate that the set temperature has been reached.
Once the temperature has been reached, leave the device for 10-15 minutes and the device should switch off automatically. Repeat once or twice as necessary.
Now the burn off is complete, the fun can start!
Packing your Solo II
Unlike many other dry herb vaporizers, the Solo II works best when your herbs are coarsely ground.
Once you have coarsely ground your herbs, plunge the wide end of one of the aroma tubes into your herbs to fill the dish, being careful not to press too hard or pack too tightly. You want to leave about 1mm of space at the end of the stem.
Finally, carefully insert the glass stem into the top of the device (make sure the device is upside down when you do this) until it fits snugly, with the herbs facing towards the oven.
Setting the temperature
Power up the Solo II by holding the (M) and (^) buttons for up to 6 seconds. The timer will count down on the OLED screen showing the power-on delay and a greeting message is displayed when the unit is powered on.
Set the temperature by pressing the up and down arrow keys. This will allow you to set the temperature in 1 degree increments. Alternatively you can hold the buttons down to adjust in 10 degree increments.
We'd recommend starting at a temperature of between 180C-185C to best enjoy the great flavour of your herbs.
After setting the temperature, allow the unit to heat up.
Now the device is ready to vape!
lnhaling from your Solo II
To get the most out of your herbs and optimal cloud production, we'd recommend taking slow, steady draws for 10 seconds or more each.
If you find it is a little tough to draw, pull the stem out slightly from the oven in order to increase airflow.
Cleaning your Solo II
The Solo II itself is very low maintenance so you can spend your time using it rather than cleaning it!
After a few uses, the glass accessories should be cleaned to ensure optimal performance. To clean the glass parts, simply soak in isopropyl alcohol for a couple of hours then rinse with hit water.
Ensure all glass parts are dry before using again
